THE LIGHT LETTER

It’s National Polka Dot day. I know some of you read this at work, and you’re thinking Sh$t. Now I have to go home and change.

But this light letter isn’t about fashion. It’s about the sun peering over the edge of a deep blue ocean called your inbox and we are lighting it up.

P.S. If someone sent you this Light Letter, you can subscribe here.

Carry on.

Deep Dive: Yes, but when?

Most dreams don’t die because people stop believing in them.
They fade because life gets loud.

So we tell ourselves, maybe someday.
When I have time.

But they don’t need hours to come alive.
They need fifteen minutes.

0 × 365 = 0
15 × 365 = 91 hours and 25 minutes

That’s not nothing.
That’s a real body of work.

Before you let a dream go,
give it 91 hours and 25 minutes.

This Week’s Inspiration

  • 16 unboring questions you can ask someone when you are in an awkward pickle.

  • Indiana had a historic run to win the college football championship. Their QB, Mendoza, had a pretty cool outlook on staying focused.

  • Mantra of the week: It is getting darker. This is a good mantra to say in meditation, in your morning routine, throughout the day... Or maybe at 4:15 pm when the sun sets.

Om Laghu Bhavam (pronounced as OM lawghoo Ba vawm) Om Laghu Bhavam means my essential nature is lightness. Or I am lightness.
You can say it in English too if that feels more you. As it gets darker, this mantra can help ground you in light and bring you more energy and creativity.

Until next time,

Live your light.
